It uses a single, exquisitely cut piece of 4 – 4.5 oz (1.6 – 1.8 mm) waxed veg‑tan leather known for its supple feel and distinct pull‑up character. The waxed finish, enriched in the tanning drum with oils and animal fats, gives the leather its classic rustic pull-up and delightful cracking as it ages.
